Letter to Our Customers and partners

November 5, 2020

Dear Valued Customers, Associates, and Partners,

With all of the pandemic challenges, business disruptions, natural disasters and uncertainty, 2020 has in some ways kept us apart, while in other ways it has brought us together and helped reinforce our commitment to one another. At Vinventions, our response to the global pandemic demonstrated tremendous resilience as we moved quickly to protect our global workforce while meeting our customers’ needs. We wish to thank our associates, partners, and customers for working with us through the recent complexities and challenges related to COVID-19, and we want to update you on the actions we are taking in support of our commitment to you.

While the pandemic will continue to present challenges worldwide, we are well positioned to navigate these hurdles. A healthy workforce, healthy work environments, and staff dedicated to ensuring our customers’ success are all points of pride for us. We are committed to being the most innovative and trusted supplier of wine closure and quality solutions to the global wine industry. In 2019 and 2020, our new Vinventions’ management team positioned the company for the future with a razor-sharp focus on creating greater value for current and prospective customers, as well as enhancing innovation in our products and processes. Shifting from a global structure to a regional structure with global collaboration and coordination helped create a flatter, more nimble organization. Our newly formed global technology and engineering team and centralized research and development team are reengineered to deliver smarter, leaner, and more effective results. And, we are excited to be announcing several new products in the coming months.

At Vinventions, we believe our growth stems from a three-pronged commitment to our customers, our associates, and the environment. We are proud to highlight Vinventions’ pledge to environmental stewardship, which helps shape our investments and future decision making:

  • Membership in the U.S. Plastics Pact, a collaborative public-private partnership organized by the World Wildlife Fund, The Recycling Partnership, and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. The Pact’s mission is to foster innovation that ensures plastics are reusable, recyclable, or compostable, with the ultimate goal of keeping them circulating in the economy—and out of the environment.
  • Our cork recycling program has already resulted in 6 to 10 tons of cork being diverted from landfills annually. And this program continues to grow—our consumer collection pilot program is expanding across the U.S. with collection sites in major wine retail locations.
  • A goal to have 100% of our closures produced from renewable, biodegradable or recycled materials by 2030.

Again, 2020 has been quite a year, but we are thankful for the partnerships and are excited about the advancements at Vinventions. Your success is and will continue to be our driving force. We will diligently address any opportunities for improvement to support you. Thank you for your ongoing trust in the quality and innovation of our solutions, and thank you for considering Vinventions the best choice for preserving your wine quality. We feel privileged to serve all of our customers, associates, and partners.

Regards,
